Why Am I Here?

You may be asking youself why am I on this site? You may be here because you are an avid historian and will do anything to be sure that you have that primary source to immerse yourself in. You may be here because of a research project for High School or College. Or you may even be here because you were inadvertenly drawn to it while searching for something completely unrelated. Regardless of why you are here, you are strongly encouraged to take a look around and who knows, you just might be inspired to help in the ongoing effort to keep these historic places and natural wonders around for many, many years to come.

What You Will Find Here

Within this site you will find yourself reading about organizations such as the National Park Service and the role they have played in park preservation over the years. Contained within this sight is a slideshow full of images of some of our more well known National Parks and a few lesser-known parks as well. You will see them at their best, and you will see what effect modern society is having on them.
